Midnight Movie

I had the immense pleasure of working with the new Midnight Movie stamp set, and it totally thrilled me!

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For my first card, I started with a certain cross dresser and his creation, coloring them with Copic markers and Sakura clear Stardust pen.
I cut out the sun ray panel die from Hero Arts in DCWV Gold glitter paper, mounting a stitched oval of dark red cardstock in the center. I stamped the "You're my creature" sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink on a strip of 110#, Recollections White cardstock. To help it stand out, I used a red, fine liner pen to add a slight "shadow" to the left side of the letters. Finally, I mounted my colored characters using Multi Medium Matte.
For my second card, I knew I needed to utilize some of the supporting images from the stamp set, so I stamped the Toast image, randomly, all over an A2 panel of 65#, White Recollections cardstock & stamped the Happy Couple and one more slice of toast on a seperate piece of cardstock, before coloring them all with Copic Markers.
I didn't have cardstock that matched the colors I used, so I used one of my E30s series Copic markers to color a strip of white cardstock to match. I stamped the sentiment, "A toast to the happy couple" using Versamark Onyx Black ink, and adhered my detailed toast image next to it, on the right. Finally, I adhered the happy couple using 1mm foam tape, for just the smallest bit of dimension.
For my third card, I knew I had to show this sassy red head some love. I colored her with copic markers, topped with a heavy coating of Sakura clear Stardust pen for tons of sparkle and shine!
I selected a beautiful monochrome patterned raindrop paper with gold foil accents from my stash, cutting it to 4x5.25 inches and mounting it on an A2 panel of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, with 1mm foam tape, for dimension. Next, I stamped the "You're my favorite obsession" sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink, and adhered our fiery red head with a penchant for sparkle to look as though she were standing on the word "Favorite".
