Custom Flamingo Shaker Card

Today I'm sharing a fun custom shaker card I created using my brand new Flamingo Tropic Sparkle Blends, a leaf from an old tropical stamp set from my stash and the fantastic Color Layering Flamingo stamp set by Hero Arts.

I began by stamping a bunch of leaves on post it notes and fussy cut them to use as masks. I selected a 4x5.25 panel of 65# white cardstock & began laying out my leaf background in the top right and bottom left corners. Next, I used my craft knife to cut out one leaf in each cluster to use as my shaker windows, which I then backed with acetate before I began coloring the leaves with my Spectrum Noir markers.

On a seperate scrap of cardstock, I used Distress Oxide inks in Picked RaspberryWorn LipstickTattered Rose Black Soot to stamp out the layered flamingo, then I fussy cut it, leaving a small white border. Next, I adhered 2 panels of fun foam together before using an oval die from my stash to cut the shaker boxes & adhered it to the back of the panel. I added a generous amount of Flamingo Tropic Sparkle Blends to each of the shaker boxes before closing them up with a piece of bright green cardstock and adhering the whole panel to a top folding A2 card base.

I used 1mm Woodware foam tape to pop up the flamingo and nestled it into the cluster of leaves in the lower left corner. I used Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide in to stamp a sentiment from the Color Layering Flamingo stamp set directly on the white space of the panel. Finally, I chose some of the cupped flower sequins from the Flamingo Tropic Sparkle Blend and scattered them throughout the leaf clusters for some subtle embellishment.

Reach For The Sky & Custom Cocoa Mug Shaker

Today I'm sharing two cards I created with my brand new Fairy Dust and Breakfast at Tiffy's Sparkle Blends and included some other fantastic supplies available at White Rose Crafts

For my first card, I chose a 4x5.25 panel of white 80# cardstock and a home made Cloud Border Stencil. I used Broken China Distress Oxide ink and a Ranger Mini Blending Tool with the stencil to create my puffy cloud background.

Next I used a retired Ellentina Cloud Die from my stash and cut my window into the top half of the panel, adhering acetate to the back. I cut two more clouds from 80# white cardstock and traced about 1/8" inside the border with my Sakura Clear Stardust pen before adhering them to my card base with 1mm Woodware Foam Tape

On a scrap of 110# white cardstock, I stamped the Bunny & Kite image from the Stampendous House Mouse Hoppy Moments stamp set in Onyx Black Versafine ink and heat embossed with Ranger Fine Detail Clear Embossing Powder before coloring with my Spectrum Noir Next Generation pens. I used warm greys for the bunny and tried to match the browns and blues in the Breakfast at Tiffy's Sparkle Blend for the kite.

Before assembling my shaker, I stamped my sentiment from the Papertrey Ink Up, Up & Away Sentiments using Versafine ink.
Next, I adhered two layers of fun foam together and cut my shaker opening before adhering it to the back of my panel. I added a generous amount of Breakfast at Tiffy's Blend and used a piece of baby blue cardstock to close up the shaker box. Using the same Woodware 1mm foam tape, I cut little pieces and popped up my bunny image before adhering the panel to a top folding, A2 card base. As a final touch, I added 3, light blue, holographic sequins from the blend as embellishment and a touch of Clear Wink of Stella glitter pen to the kite.

For my second card, I decided to cut my own Shaker Shape to use with my new Fairy Dust Sparkle Blends. I started with a 4.25x5.5 panel of 80# white cardstock and stamped this adorable Your Next Stamp Hot Cocoa Hugs stamp set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Next, I used a kraft knife to cut out the mug part of the image, before coloring with my Spectrum Noir Next Generation markers, sticking to brown, cream and grey. Then I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I adhered a piece of acetate to the window opening before adhering together two pieces of fun foam and cutting my shaker opening with a rectangle die from my stash. I added a generous amount of Fairy Dust Sparkle Blend and closed the window with a piece of white cardstock.

I adhered the panel to a top folding A2 card base and then adered a sprinkling of clear cup sequins from the Fairy Dust Blend and a brush of Clear Wink of Stella on the Marshmallows and Whipped Cream as embellishments.

2 Smile Cards

Today I'm sharing 2 cards created using my Flaming Sunset Sparkle Blends! I started with a 4x5.25 panel of orange and pink tie-dye paper from my stash and then cut out  my shaker window using a Papertrey Ink Scene Its: Skyscapes sun rays die, setting aside the cut out to use on my second card. Next, I cut a circle frame out of gold DCWV glitter paper with the stitched circle frame from the Papertrey Ink Shaker Shapes: Circle die set.

Next I adhered two layers of fun foam together and then selected a stitched circle die from my stash, slightly larger than my shaker window opening, and cut the opening for my Sparkle Blends and then used the same die cut my acetate window before adhering it to the back of my die cut panel.

For my sentiment, I cut out two of the Smile Die Cuts from the Hero Arts Smile Stamp & Cut set, one from gold glitter paper and 4 from 110lb white cardstock. I adhered the 4 white die cuts together and then one of the black cuts on top. I also adhered the second black die cut, off set on the gold glitter cut. Next, I stamped the "Brightens up my day" sentiment on 2 strips of black cardstock using Versamark ink, and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.

I assembled my shaker, box and then placed some of the Flaming Sunset Sparkle Blends inside before backing with a panel of golden yellow cardstock, and adhered the whole panel to an A2 card base. Next, I added the gold glitter frame around my shaker before adding the dimensional Smile die cut Sentiment with the sentiment banner adhered below it. Finally I stamped "Your" using Onyx Black Versafine ink & added a few sequins from the Sparkle Blend as embellishments.

For my second card, I layered together the cut out from my shaker card panel, a circle of yellow cardstock and a larger stitched circle of gold glitter cardstock & adhered them in the top center of the card. Next I adhered my sentiments int he same location as my shaker card and added a generous sprinkling of sequins from the Flaming Sunset blend as embellishments

Intergalactic Panel Shaker Card

Today I created a simple frame shaker card with my new Intergalactic Sparkle Blend.

I also used an old star banner cover plate die from my stash (I don't know the brand) and a sheet of space themed DCWV 4x6 cardstock, also from my stash, as the background.

I cut the cover plate from light gold Neenah shimmer cardstock and cut strips of black DCWV glitter paper to box in the frame. I also used a yellow Sakura glaze pen to add a little color and dimension to the stars before backing the panel with clear acetate.

I doubled up 3M foam tape to create my shaker box and adhered a 4x5.25 panel of the patterned paper to an A2 white note card. I placed a generous amount of Intergalactic Sparkle Blends in the center of the panel, before adhering my shaker panel, centered on the card base. I stamped a sentiment from the MFT Stamps Space Explorer stamp set onto a white banner and adhered it with glue dots to the bottom right of the panel. As a final touch, I added some Dovecraft glitter enamel dots from the Berry  Blush collection to two of the corners.
